I love film photography, the magic for me is totally what happens in the darkroom. I also feel that I am the one creating a unique piece of art. I am not ready to move into digital yet. The thrill of seeing images on the negative it's the beginning to creation. Having the film wash and hang to dry is surreal. Once in the darkroom printing an image on paper is an incredible feeling. There are different texture of papers. There are different type of black and white film. There different types of red filters. Chemicals give a different effect to a photograph. To create a beautiful art piece in back and white it's not as simple we may think. I am not getting hundreds of likes on m social media or getting much exposure in social media, and I am at peace with that. I create art, the kind of art that can be understand by those who can understand me and those who can related to my pieces.
